A young girl had been lured away by a stranger and had gone missing on Saturday
afternoon. The
police called out the Unit and early on Sunday members assembled south of Johannesburg to search rough terrain in old mine workings south
of the city. Later that day the girl's body was
found in the mine dumps. A man was later arrested by police and charged with her abduction and murder. |

walk, but he was found before the Unit went to a full Code Red call-out. |

A member of the FWDCSA on a tour in Lesotho was detained by local police after his vehicle was involved
in an accident and the Unit was placed on standby in case he needed legal and financial assistance. He was released two days after his
arrest and returned home. |
